True Insight’s Newburgh Homeroom Program will mentor the youth of the City of Newburgh, New York to help increase their chances for success in this post pandemic America. Our program will benefit the youth on a weekly basis with initiatives to enhance their social emotional well-being to become future change makers. Part of our overall vision is critical to our community's future and is based on the belief that youth are not "problems to be managed," but rather "resources to be developed."
The program will be located in the heart of the City of Newburgh at Grace Methodist Church on Monday and Wednesday from 1p to 6p for high school students. The program will provide students with opportunities for academic enrichment and tutoring services, youth development and athletic activities, nutrition and health education, drug and gun violence prevention, technology education, financial literacy programs, and environmental literacy.
